Zero conditionals

You will learn how to write with zero conditionals.

A conditional sentence is a sentence that depends on a condition. There are 2 types of conditional sentences: the “if” sentence and the “unless” sentence.

The “if” sentence is used when the condition is satisfied, and the “unless” sentence is used when the condition is not satisfied.

Examples of zero conditional sentences:

1) If you are hungry, you should eat something.

2) Unless you are in a hurry, you should wait for your food to cool before eating it.

3) If I were you, I would leave now.

4) Unless he comes back soon, we will have to start without him.
